Hi, I’m Braden Beasley, founder of BK Design and creator of the original adjustable cowboy hat hanger (patent pending).

The story behind this product begins long before its first prototype. Since i was a kid, I’ve always had a fascination with solving problems, especially ones that could be tackled through design, math, physics, and a bit of hands-on construction.

That curiosity eventually led me to Texas A&M, where I joined the newly formed Architectural Engineering program. I had the unique opportunity to work alongside faculty and industry partners to help shape the curriculum and ultimately became the program's first official graduate.

During college, I came to own two cowboy hats that meant a lot to me. One belonged to my late grandfather Rudy and the other was a custom felt hat from a local hat bar in Bryan. As a renter, I couldn't drill holes in the wall, and there was no way I was going to keep those hats in a box or shoved in a closet.

I had a problem. There were a few solutions, but none that met my standards. So I set out to build a better one.

What followed were countless failed attempts, redesigns, and prototypes. But eventually, I created a hanger that was simple, sleek, renter-friendly, and actually worked. Years later, with some encouragement from my supportive dad, i decided to start selling it to help others solve the same problem i once had.

And that’s how BK Design was born.
